Can you tell us more about Apartment '3 BEAUFORT' ?
Apartment 3 BEAUFORT is a cozy and modern apartment in Nieuwpoort-Bad. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, it is the ideal base for visiting Bruges, the coast, and the Westhoek or for exploring the polders by bike.nnen van de polders met de fiets.

What should I bring?

  • Duvet covers, mattress protectors, and pillowcases for the single and double beds (1 double bed (160 cm), 2 single beds (90 cm)). These can also be rented: 10 euros per single bed and 20 euros per double bed per stay.
  • Sheets and blankets for the folding baby bed (120 cm x 60 cm).
  • Kitchen towels
  • Bath towels (can also be rented for 5 euros per person per stay).


Are there shops nearby?
Within walking distance, you will find several supermarkets, as well as bakeries, butchers, and fishmongers.

What is not provided?
A deep fryer and toaster. The use of a deep fryer or fondue set is not allowed in the apartment.

Is there parking available?
There is no garage or private parking. However, parking is available in Franslaan or check more information on Public Parking Lots - City of Nieuwpoort.

When can we arrive, and when do we have to leave?
Check-in is from 5:00 PM. Check-out is before 10:00 AM.

Where can we dispose of waste?
Nieuwpoort uses underground waste containers. Trash bags must be disposed of there. A large bag requires a 50-cent coin, and a small bag a 20-cent coin. Please also bring glass, paper, cardboard, and PMD to the designated collection points. This is free. A charge of 8 euros per uncollected waste bag will be applied.

Can we move the furniture?
We expressly ask that the furniture not be moved, as this can cause significant damage and is therefore prohibited. Moreover, it creates extra work during the cleaning of the apartment.

How does payment work?
The reservation is only accepted after payment of a 30% deposit at the time of booking, with mention of your name and period.
The remaining rental payment (70%) and the security deposit (400 euros) must be paid 2 weeks before arrival, with mention of your name and period.
If the payment is not made on time, the reservation may be canceled, and the deposit refunded after deduction of cancellation fees.
If the rental agreement is concluded within 6 weeks before the arrival date, the full amount must be paid within 3 working days.

What happens in case of cancellation?
The cancellation fees are as follows:

  • Free cancellation if the booking was made less than 7 days ago and it is not a last-minute booking. A booking is considered last-minute if the reservation start date is within 8 weeks of the booking date.
  • 30% of the total amount for cancellations more than 8 weeks before the arrival date.
  • 100% of the total amount for cancellations less than 8 weeks before the arrival date.

What about the security deposit?
A security deposit of 400 euros is required for each rental and must be paid along with the balance of the rental price.
If everything is in order and there are no issues, the deposit will be refunded within two weeks after your stay, minus any additional consumption costs.
Please note: In case of damage, the tenant is liable for the full cost of the damage, even if it exceeds the deposit paid.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire apartment. Smoking is allowed outside, but we kindly ask that cigarette butts not be left behind.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.

Do we need to clean the apartment before leaving?
Final cleaning is mandatory and included in the rental price. This ensures that the apartment is clean upon your arrival and that you do not have to worry about cleaning during your stay. However, we ask that the apartment be left in an orderly condition and that all dishes, pots, and pans be washed and put away. Additional cleaning work may be deducted from the deposit at a rate of 20 euros per hour.

What about insurance?
The building is insured, including tenant liability (with a deductible).
